We need more people calling this out loud.
#DRM requires blobs and proprietary loopholes, they are just:
1. standardizing (read, blessing with the words standard) the loopholes that will ensure software patents are used to ensure nobody can make competitive browsers
2. Making illegal (under most jurisdictions in Europe and the USA) Free Software browsers that implement this (they can be changed to disregard the DRM)
3. Making those that do not implement this
#defectivebydesign anti user features appear as worse browsers because you can view netflix with them.
I rather they keep using Flash and Silverlight, we don't have to make their lives easier and cheaper when they rob us of our rights with DRM.
